We are selecting 9 organizations in Atlanta that have a track record of doing great work in our community. By seeding them $100,000 each, we will be able to show some tangible and measurable results in just 12 months. Only asking 12,000 Atlantans to give $12 per month for the next 12 months, make this goal very attainable, and the people can see exactly where the funds are going.
With the funds raised, we will also be able to seed 12 entrepreneurs $25,000. We will give four ideas $25,000; four startups $25,000 and four existing businesses $25,000. The pitch competitions will be held in the spring.
